25 weeks 5 days
well I feel like ticking time bomb! Waiting for this baby to arrive ! I am on sick leave from work until I deliver, every medical person seems to think it will be in the next two weeks! So scared, I know steriods will help the babies breathing but there are some many other risks when the baby is prem. So fingers and legs are crossed. I am trying to rest but it goes against my nature to do nothing!

25 weeks 3 days
Well I've made it to 25 weeks, 3 days. Had a consultant appointment and cervical scan today. My cervic is opening and is shortening. They can't do much about it now, but have given me steriods to help the babies lungs in case they come early. Also given me progesteron to help my system keep the baby in. They talked about making sure my notes are up to date, that I go into cheltenham, as gloucester is so busy, as I will probably be transferred some where else (could be ANYWAY in country). So I think they are expecting me to go into labour sooner rather than later, just hope I can stay until after 30 weeks.... who knows. I am so shocked and they've told me to rest, so I have left brownies and will probably have to go on maternity leave with immediate effect now. Here we go......

Consultant Appointment
Had my clinic appointment today and waited an hour to see not my consultant but a Registrar (well I guess thats who he was). Not very helpful, didn't seem concerned about my cervical scan, wants me to have another in a fortnight when I will be 25 weeks 3 days (which is when Amy came). They don't know what to do with me really but will give me steriods at 25 weeks to give the baby a chance in case it comes early - hope it doesn't come before they give them to me. I am so nervous about this baby coming early especially now the medics don't seem to have any plans to stop it!
I simply want to have the pleasure of having a normal pregnancy, I found it hard sitting in the waiting room with lots of heavily pregnant women thinking will I get a chance to experience that.
